    Terroir & vineyards

    The place makes the wine.

La Azul's vineyards sit at around 1,100 metres (Tupungato) in the Uco Valley, one of Mendoza's most acclaimed wine regions. Stony alluvial soils and the direct influence of the Andes create a microclimate of pronounced temperature swings, ideal for Argentina's classic red varietals. Its speciality: Malbec and Cabernet Franc from the Uco Valley.

The La Azul restaurant offers a gastronomic experience that complements the tasting.

    Awards & reviews.

La Azul regularly earns recognition in specialist publications such as the Tim Atkin Argentina Report, Wine Enthusiast and Descorchados. Its fine wines typically score between 90 and 94 points, holding a consistent position within quality Argentine wine tourism.
