Terroir & vineyards
The place makes the wine.
Trapiche's vineyards sit at around 750 metres in Maipú, one of Mendoza's most acclaimed wine regions. Stony alluvial soils and the direct influence of the Andes create a microclimate of pronounced temperature swings, ideal for Argentina's classic red varietals. Its speciality: Iscay and Medalla.
