The house, its origin.
Alfa Crux was founded in 2000 with Spanish roots (originally O. Fournier, later Grupo Doña Paula and others). Terroir & vineyards
The place makes the wine.
Alfa Crux's vineyards sit at around 1,200 metres (La Consulta) in the Uco Valley, one of Mendoza's most acclaimed wine regions. Stony alluvial soils and the direct influence of the Andes create a microclimate of pronounced temperature swings, ideal for Argentina's classic red varietals. Its speciality: high-altitude Tempranillo and Malbec.
